A Tall Drink of Water

This post was originally going to be allllll about the patio because let's be real, it rocks, and I LOVE me a good patio. But how could I not talk about the rest of the house when it looks like this?? Personally, with a property and view like this, I could be convinced to pitch a tent and live off the land somewhere the owners wouldn't really notice me. But when you start adding elements like that gorgeous kitchen, bedroom fireplace and tub?? Forget it, I'm upgraded to stalker status. Hope they don't mind if I take a bath while they're at work.

(Sadly, I can't remember where I found this house. I blame pregnancy brain. Bah.)

Pitching a Tent...

...is for the birds. Don't get me wrong I love the outdoors, camping, playing with fire, yada yada, but if I had to choose between a Silver Bullet and well, the ground, I'm bettin' on the Bullet. I know a few camping purists who will shudder at this confession, but I won’t hold it against you. When your hot-dog-on-a-hanger has fallen victim to the campfire, you can still count on me for meal and a mojito, complete with fancy straw. Because that’s just the kind of friend I am. Too bad I don’t actually own an Airstream trailer, but whatever. Logistics shmogistics.

Patio Approved

When my friends and I try to decide where to head for happy hour, my only requirement is that the location be patio approved. (Pool + shade + bar cart = automatic PA.) If MY patio came equipped with the items in this board, every hour would be happy. And possibly not sober. I’m just sayin’.

Tasty Delight

I'm in the mood for a dinner party. Outside on the patio. Without utensils to wash. What about soup and sandwiches, you say? Yep, that sounds just right.
